Advanced Placement Computer Science A
Exam Details
The AP Computer Science Exam has two sections. Section I is 50% of the total grade and is composed of 40 questions (75 minutes). Section II is 50% of the exam grade and has 4 questions (106 minutes).
Exam note: The GridWorld Exam Appendix MUST be returned with the exam booklets and answer sheets. The language used on the exam will be Java.
Last year, 62.1% of students scored a 3 or better on the exam.
The College Board publishes sample exam questions and answers from previous years’ exams. It is highly recommended that students review released exams as part of their exam preparation. Most review materials below include content and model practice tests from released Advanced Placement exams.
