Advanced Placement Statistics
Exam Details
The AP Statistics exam has two sections. Section I is 50% of the total grade with 40 questions (90 minutes). Section II has 6 free-response questions (90 minutes) a graphing calculator is expected. Last year, 58.8% of students scored a 3 or better on the exam.
The College Board publishes sample exam questions and answers from previous years’ exams. It is highly recommended that students review released exams as part of their exam preparation. Most review materials below include content and model practice tests from released Advanced Placement exams.
